Global Forwarding Coordinator - Onsite

Pay Rate: $17.56/hr.

Job Start Date - 9/28/26

Job End Date - 5/19/28

Job Description -

Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. Rotational shifts included on weekends with sporadic events such as PTO coverage for night shift no later than 9PM.

We are looking for an individual who is self directed and problem solving. The responsibilities consist of AES filings which consist of the following information but not limited to:

  • Prepare and submit AES filings accurately and within required timelines.
  • Review shipment documentation to ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations.
  • Validate commodity classifications, values, quantities, and country of destination information.
  • Research and resolve filing discrepancies, errors, and shipment holds.
  • Communicate with internal teams, customers, carriers, and government agencies regarding filing requirements.
  • Maintain records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor export transactions to ensure compliance with AES, Census Bureau, and Customs regulations.
  • Support audits, reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Escalate compliance concerns and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

Understand the processes involved in international shipping from purchase order to delivery of cargo at ultimate destination

Assist GF personnel and other third parties with inquiries and problem resolution

Generate, file, and maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records, reports, shipment documentation, etc.

Provide tracking and tracing services for customer shipments

Provide support and backup for the delivery and turnovers

Perform load-audits

Provide reporting and documentation collection support to global forwarding personnel and ensure customer data integrity

Ensure adherence to customer SOPs, government agency regulations, and our client's company standards

Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Required: High school diploma or GED Site Specific: Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)

Preferred: Minimum 2 years of previous working experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment

Excellent verbal & written communication skills and phone etiquette

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Attention to detail and accuracy
